Abstract

Welltec uses its unique portfolio of tools and two decades of intervention success to engineer robust fishing solutions. The technical session featured in this SPE event highlights how an innovative solution enabled operators to efficiently retrieve wires left in the well using active control and real-time measurement fishing techniques. This success was made possible through thorough planning and job design, leading to a smooth and effective execution.

Eyad Rai is a results-driven energy professional with over 19 years of experience in the upstream industry. Currently with Welltec and formerly with SLB, he has held diverse roles across eight countries and three continents, building deep expertise in field operations, operations management, and commercial strategy. Eyad is passionate about delivering innovative solutions, and optimizing service delivery in the energy sector.

Highlight of the event – we will have a specially arranged Welltec’s beer robot serving the beers during the evening.
